During the month of May, I read “The Compound Effect” and here is my key takeaway. To achieve the things in life you want to achieve, you need to do the small things on a regular basis. By remaining committed to doing the little habits daily, you will achieve the results you want. For example, if your goal is to run a full marathon and you have 4 months to get ready, you need to start by running a .5 mile until you can run a full mile. Once you run a full mile, focus on running 1.5 miles and continue this pattern until you can run 20 miles at one time. Break your big goals down into small daily habits and over time, you will reach your goal.
